The Customer Return action menu has an option for "Credit This Customer Return". This is a special user feature that is intended to ONLY be used in conjunction with Counter Sale order processing. This action should not be used as a shortcut for using the "Customer Return Receiving" process for any non-Counter Sales orders. For Acclamare clients or users that are not performing Counter Sales activities, this option should be removed from the action menu to prevent accidental use.
"Credit This Customer Return" is intended to facilitate on-the-spot product exchanges/credit for Counter Sales activities. The posting process intentionally does not evaluate freight charges and a few other values when posting the credit. The result will be a system credit value for ONLY the value of the items credited.
